The Four Points by Sheraton hotel is within walking distance (10-15 minutes/ 1 km) from the Brock University campus. A limited number of rooms have been set aside for the JSAC conference. The group rate is applicable as long as hotel rooms are still available. You will be charged for overnight parking on the hotel premises. Please note that the Four Points by Sheraton is the only hotel within walking distance to Brock University.

Hotels in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls are approximately a 20 – 40 minute drive to the Brock Campus.

Travel Information

Brock University is situated in the Niagara region in the City of St. Catharines. Within 1.5 to 2 hours’ drive (depending on traffic) to the City Centre of Toronto and 20-minute drive to Niagara Falls. Known as the “Garden City,” St. Catharines is surrounded by lush orchards, vineyards, and wineries to the east and west and bordered by the Niagara Escarpment to the south and Lake Ontario to the north.

The University sits on top of the beautiful Niagara escarpment and is the only Canadian university with the distinction of being part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. In addition to Niagara Falls, the charming historic town of Niagara on the Lake, located at the mouth of the Niagara River and the shores of Lake Ontario is just a short drive away.

DrivE
Take the Queen Elizabeth Highway (QEW) in the direction of Niagara Falls. Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way around the lake, then Southeast to St. Catharines. Take exit 49, which will lead you onto Highway 406. Continue until you reach St. David’s Road. Take the St. David’s Road West Exit and follow until you reach Sir Isaac Brock Way.

Directions from Lester B. Pearson Airport in Toronto

From Highway 401 West, take 403 South to the Queen Elizabeth Highway (QEW) in the direction of Niagara Falls. Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way around the lake, then Southeast to St. Catharines. Take exit 49, which will lead you onto Highway 406. Continue until you reach St. David’s Road. Take the St. David’s Road West Exit and follow until you reach Sir Isaac Brock Way.

Directions from Hamilton Airport

Turn left on Airport Road. Turn left on Hwy. 6 (Upper James Street) and continue to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway (the ‘LINC’). Turn east on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway which will turn into the Red Hill Parkway. Take the Red Hill Parkway to the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) east to Niagara Falls. At Exit 49, turn onto Highway 406 (towards Welland/Port Colborne) and continue until you reach St. David Road. Take the St. David’s Road West Exit and follow until you reach Sir Isaac Brock Way.

Directions from Buffalo (Peace Bridge)

Cross the Peace bridge and then take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) towards Toronto. At Exit 32B, turn onto Thorold Stone Road West and continue through the Thorold Tunnel where the road becomes Highway 58. Take the St. David’s Road West exit and follow until you reach Sir Isaac Brock Way.

SHUTTLE BUS AND TAXI SERVICES
There are numerous shuttle buses, limo services, InterCity buses to and from Airports. The prices vary from $110 to $300 depending on whether it is a shuttle bus or private car service. Intercity long distance buses are even cheaper.

Brock University On-campus Parking

  • Paid Parking is required Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • An evening flat rate of $6 will be available when parking on campus between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. during the fall/winter terms.
  • Daily, hourly and evening parking are available for purchase through the HONK mobile app or in-person.
  • Parking is enforced 24/7.

For the opening evening (Thursday, 15 October) and the 1st day of the Conference and Conference dinner (Friday, 16 October), the nearest Paid Parking is LOT E.

For Saturday and Sunday (no parking fee required), the nearest Paid Parking is LOT D.
